Small Aircraft Hull & Liability Insurance Policy

Aircraft Hull & Liability insurance is available for all small commercial and training aircraft carrying passengers and covers jet turbine and propeller driven craft. The insurance covers, co-pilot, other logged aircrew and passengers for accidental bodily injury. Pilot Comprehensive insurance is now available separately. See menu.


The standard Geographical Limits are Europe, North Africa and the Canary Islands.


Small Aircraft Hull & Liability Insurance - what does it cover?

Onrisk Small Aircraft Hull & Liability Insurance covers legal liability for damages and legal costs arising out of third party loss, injury, or damage in connection with flying. The premiums payable for Onrisk liability insurance are minimal compared to the damages that could be awarded as part of a liability settlement. Club and Group Aircraft Hull & Liability Insurance is also available on request.


This is annual Small Aircraft Hull & Liability Insurance cover for

  • Accidental loss of or damage to the insured aircraft.
  • Liability for accidental bodily injury to third parties (excluding passengers) and accidental loss of or damage to property caused by the insured aircraft.
  • Liability for accidental bodily injury to passengers of the insured aircraft and for loss of or damage to passengers baggage and personal articles arising out of an accident to the insured aircraft.

Additional Cover

  • Cover is provided for reasonable removal costs following a forced landing
  • Continuation / Advanced training of permitted pilots
  • Cover for Airtesting flights (including PFA Test Pilots for test or certificate of Airworthiness flights) and flights in connection with maintenance and repair by licensed pilots.
  • Agreed value (the value stated in the Schedule, less deductible) when the aircraft is a total loss or uneconomical to repair.
